Dylan was granted a combined wish by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southeastern
Pennsylvania and Give Kids the World Village. In November 2004, Dylan, his
mommy & daddy and his grandparents were escorted by stretch limousine from their
front door right to the Philadelphia Airport. We flew to Orlando, Florida
where we were greeted by a volunteer from Give Kids the World Village and
escorted to our rental car. From there, we drove to the Village where
Dylan was greeted by so many friendly volunteers and given a soft stuffed Mickey
Mouse. They showed us to our villa, delivered all of Dylan's medical
equipment and welcomed us for a week to their cartoon-like resort. To view
pictures of the village, visit

We tried to fit in as many activities as possible with our free park tickets,
including: Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios.
The weather really cooperated and time flew by quickly but the memories we
shared there will never be forgotten! Check out Dylan's pictures below.
He had the chance to meet so many characters who were wonderful with him and he
went on quite a few rides which were handicapped accessible and "No wait"!
One day we took a break from the hustle and bustle and lounged by the pool.
That same day, the Orlando Sentinel was out to do an article on the Village
Expansion project and Dylan made the front page of the paper! When the
week was through, he slept all the way home on the airplane and had a luxurious
limo ride home to complete the trip! What more can a boy of three ask for?
